This course is provided by the Department of Cranio-Maxilo-Facial Surgery of Medical University of Warsaw in collaboration with the European Association for Cranio Maxillo Facial Surgery. The aim of the course is consolidate the knowledge of classifications and most useful approaches. Increase the spectrum of skills dealing with standard surgeries. Learning tips and tricks in applying techniques and conducting operations.

The residents’ session will take place on Thursday. Abstracts of papers in the field of maxillofacial traumatology can be sent to kcst@wum.edu.pl by May 30, 2024

Food and drinks will be available at the  venue and teaching will include lectures, case discussion and group discussion.

Hands-on Cadaver Workshop

• Practical part:
22 (Saturday) June 2024, 09:00 am – 06:00 pm

Venue: Warsaw Medical Training Center (CEM Centrum Edukacji Medycznej) Bysławska st. 84, 04-993 Warsaw, Poland

12 participants

Fees: 1100 Euro

Hands-on workshop on prefractured cadaveric specimens including midface fractures and fractures of the mandible. Participants will work in teams. Preoperative planning will be based on radiologic findings (CT-Scans), followed by case discussion and surgical treatment. Each group will have a supervisor. After surgery CT scan will be performed. During online meeting one week after course results will be discussed.
